Distance Sales Agreement

This agreement governs the distance sale of event tickets between EventSeat and the consumer. It has been prepared in accordance with the German Civil Code (BGB) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
Parties
Seller: EventSeat (based in Germany). Buyer: The consumer accepting the agreement. Seller details are provided on the Impressum page.
Subject of the Agreement
Distance sale of event tickets and related services. Product/service details, prices and taxes are displayed on the purchase screen.
Formation of the Contract
The contract is formed when the buyer clicks the purchase button and confirms payment details. The seller sends order confirmation by email.
Price and Payment
All prices include taxes. Any additional shipping costs are stated during purchase. Payment options: credit card, debit card, etc. Payment is taken when the contract is formed or immediately thereafter.
Delivery
Digital tickets: Printable immediately after purchase. May be sent by email. Printed tickets: 2–4 business days by standard shipping (Germany). Delivery times and costs are specified separately.
Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw within 14 days. However, for ticket sales where the event date falls before the end of the withdrawal period, this right may be limited with the consumer's explicit consent (BGB § 312g). Withdrawal requests must be made in writing (email).
Warranty and Conformity
The seller warrants that the product conforms to the contract. In case of non-conformity, the consumer may request repair, replacement or price reduction. In the event of event cancellation, the refund policy applies.
Liability
The seller is not liable for indirect damages except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Statutory liability remains unaffected.
Applicable Law
German law applies. EU consumers benefit from mandatory protective provisions of their country of residence.
