Guide to adding events and managing information

This page is a support document for those who want to add and manage events as organisers on the EventSeat platform. It provides guidance on the application process, approval waiting period, completing your information, and which details can be changed.
How to Add Events?
- Log in: Sign in with your organiser account.
- Go to the management panel: Access the panel via "Management" or "Login" from the top menu.
- Events page: Click "Events" in the left menu.
- New event: Click "New Event" or "Add Event".
- Fill in the form: Complete all required fields such as event name, date, venue, ticket types, prices and description.
- Save: Submit the form to create your event. The event will enter the approval process.
Approval Process and Waiting
Your organiser application and events you add are reviewed by the platform administrator. This process is usually completed within a few business days.
While your application is "Pending", you cannot add events. Your organiser role must first be approved.
After approval, you can add, edit and start ticket sales for events from the management panel.

Complete Your Information Fully
For smooth operation as an organiser, all your information must be complete and accurate.
The fields requested in the Organisation Application Details section (company name, legal form, address, phone, trade register, tax number, representative name, display name) are required under DDG § 5 and the B2B agreement.
You can view and complete missing fields at "Management" → "Organisation Details".
Leaving no information incomplete is important for both legal compliance and building trust with your customers.
Which Information Can Be Changed?
Editable information
After approval, you can update the following at any time:
Address, phone, legal form, trade register, registration number, VAT ID (USt-IdNr.)
Non-editable information
After approval, the following fields cannot be changed for security and contract integrity. You can only fill them in for the first time if you left them empty:
Company or business name, authorised representative (name), display name for organisations
Your first and last name in personal information also cannot be changed once saved in your organiser account.
